UNA FATTORIA. UNA STORIA DI FAMIGLIA

MY HISTORY AND THE FARM

My name is Silvia Maria Chinaglia and despite the Italian name, I was born in Brazil. After I graduated in modern literature, the desire to experience led me to another continent. For three years I was in Germany and for a bit 'of time I have traveled and met most of Europe, until I was enchanted by Italy.
With the knowledge of languages, had no difficulty in finding work and was accepted by the city of Ravenna. I did work experience in the field of tourism, as a receptionist, hotel management, executive secretary in a game park, a course on the B & B and I have participated in the formation of the association for Tourists House http://www.turistipercasa.it/ and help in managing a farm. A calling that takes me to this day.

In the meantime, I got married and both conscious of wanting to experience the countryside and its values, we have together bought a farm in 1997 and since then it has become our home where we are growing two children and since four years it is also my business.
The farm Capannina, is called so since more than one hundred years, and is located between Tredozio and Rocca San Casciano  in the Romagnolo Apennines.

On the property of about 10 acres is the old manor house built around an ancient medieval watchtower. There are also a stable and a barn dating from the early twentieth century.
Agricultural activity follows the dictates of 'organic farming and consists of a crop of blackberries and raspberries, a kitchen garden (synergistic !!), and all of then are biological, chickens and rabbits, and an apiary .

In the courtyard, not uncommon to find our geese, chickens and peacocks that roam together with our dogs and cats.
